Handmade by a hardworking gent in New Mexico, this lovely little birdseye-maple hand loom is a perfect starter loom or travel companion. The I shape of the loom leaves the sides free and clear, unlike a frame loom, making it extra easy to weave on. And with a weaving area of up to 6.5" x 6", you can use it to make small, stylish wall hangings (using yarn from your stash) or functional trivets woven from torn fabric strips. Or whatever you might dream up!
The kit includes a full set of tools, including the handmade needle stick, shuttle and beater, plus a bamboo skewer for setting up a "fast shuttle." There's also a sheet of instructions and a little bit of warp yarn to get you started.
