Brooklyn Tweed’s “Capsule” series of single-designer pattern books are beautifully produced in every regard. All of the patterns are written with the utmost detail, along with copious photos, charts and techniques.
• Vol 2: Michele Wang
The second volume (Winter 2017; 138 pages; pictured) features one of my very favorite designers. Here you’ll find classic Michele: wearable shapes and fun-to-knit cables, in the form of 4 cardigans, 2 pullovers, 1 men’s cardigan (unisex really) and a hat. You could literally knit and wear every one of these garments over the course of years.
• Vol 1 : Olga Buraya-Kefelian
The first volume (Fall 2015; 128 pages; interior not pictured) features one of the knitting world's most creative designers. Olga's patterns are always brilliant in their attention to detail, and this book includes a wide range of designs: 3 sweaters, 1 dress, 1 colorwork cowl, a cable hat, a lace wrap and genius pair of fingerless mitts.
